Maa Baglamukhi Temple, Nalkheda.

माँ बगलामुखी मंदिर, नलखेड़ा।

A seat of long standing.

Nalkheda sits on the banks of the Lakhundar in Agar Malwa district. The temple is entered through the lion-mukh gateway, the shikhara rising in yellow beyond it, with trishul fencing along the approach.

What draws devotees here rather than to a nearer shrine is the arrangement of the sanctum itself — Maa Baglamukhi worshipped alongside Mahalakshmi and Saraswati, three Devis in one garbhagriha.

एक प्राचीन पीठ।

नलखेड़ा आगर मालवा जिले में लखुन्दर नदी के तट पर स्थित है। मंदिर में सिंह-मुख द्वार से प्रवेश होता है, उसके परे पीत शिखर उठता है, और मार्ग के साथ त्रिशूल-वेष्टन है।

भक्तों को निकट किसी अन्य स्थान के स्थान पर यहाँ जो खींचता है वह है गर्भगृह की व्यवस्था — माँ बगलामुखी, महालक्ष्मी एवं सरस्वती के साथ, एक ही गर्भगृह में तीन देवियाँ।

शृंगार दर्शन

The three Devis in shringar. The dress and ornament change through the week and on festival tithis.

शृंगार में तीनों देवियाँ। वस्त्र एवं आभूषण सप्ताह भर तथा पर्व तिथियों पर बदलते हैं।

Aarti

आरती

Aarti is offered daily before the sanctum. Devotees joining by video call are shown the aarti live.

प्रतिदिन गर्भगृह के समक्ष आरती होती है। वीडियो कॉल द्वारा सम्मिलित भक्तों को आरती सीधे दिखाई जाती है।

The Shikhara

शिखर

The temple tower rises beyond the gateway, its flag visible from the approach road.

द्वार के परे मंदिर का शिखर उठता है, जिसकी ध्वजा पहुँच-मार्ग से दिखाई देती है।

The havan kunds.

The longer anushthans are performed at the kunds in the temple grounds. The brick kund is marked with sindoor and rangoli before the rite, and the samagri laid out beside it.

For a nine or fifteen day anushthan, the fire is tended across the full period, with the jap count recorded each day.

हवन कुण्ड।

दीर्घ अनुष्ठान मंदिर प्रांगण के कुण्डों पर सम्पन्न होते हैं। विधि से पूर्व ईंट-कुण्ड को सिन्दूर एवं रंगोली से अंकित किया जाता है, तथा सामग्री उसके पार्श्व में सजाई जाती है।

नौ अथवा पंद्रह दिवसीय अनुष्ठान में सम्पूर्ण अवधि तक अग्नि की सेवा होती है, और प्रतिदिन जप-संख्या अंकित की जाती है।
