Time itself, and the dissolution that precedes every beginning. Invoked where an ending must be accepted before anything new can be taken up.काल स्वयं, तथा वह विलय जो प्रत्येक आरम्भ से पूर्व है। वहाँ आवाहित जहाँ कुछ नया लेने से पूर्व किसी अन्त को स्वीकारना हो।

ताराTara

She who carries across. Invoked in the tradition for passage through a period that must simply be endured until it ends.जो पार ले जाती हैं। परम्परा में उस अवधि से पार उतरने हेतु आवाहित जिसे बस सहना ही होता है।

त्रिपुरसुन्दरीTripura Sundari

The sixteen-fold beauty. Worshipped for fullness — in a household, in a practice, in a life that has become narrow.षोडश कला सौन्दर्य। पूर्णता हेतु आराधित — गृहस्थी में, साधना में, अथवा उस जीवन में जो संकीर्ण हो चुका हो।

भुवनेश्वरीBhuvaneshwari

She who is the expanse itself. Invoked where circumstance has closed in and room is needed.जो विस्तार स्वयं हैं। वहाँ आवाहित जहाँ परिस्थिति घिर आई हो और स्थान अपेक्षित हो।

छिन्नमस्ताChhinnamasta

The Devi who sustains from her own force. Invoked for the sacrifice whose worth is only apparent afterwards.वह देवी जो अपनी ही शक्ति से पोषित हैं। उस त्याग हेतु आवाहित जिसका मूल्य बाद में ही प्रकट होता है।

त्रिपुर भैरवीTripura Bhairavi

Tapas and the heat of discipline. Invoked by those undertaking a long observance and needing the strength to keep it.तप एवं साधना का ताप। उनके द्वारा आवाहित जो दीर्घ नियम ले रहे हों और उसे निभाने का बल चाहते हों।

धूमावतीDhumavati

Absence, and what remains when things are taken away. Her havan is offered to send misfortune away rather than draw anything near.अभाव, तथा जो शेष रहता है जब वस्तुएँ चली जाती हैं। उनका हवन कुछ पास लाने हेतु नहीं अपितु दुर्भाग्य को दूर भेजने हेतु अर्पित होता है।

बगलामुखीBaglamukhi

The presiding Devi of Nalkheda. Her power is Stambhan — the stilling of hostile motion. She is worshipped here alongside Mahalakshmi and Saraswati in one sanctum.नलखेड़ा की अधिष्ठात्री देवी। उनकी शक्ति स्तम्भन है — प्रतिकूल गति का ठहराव। यहाँ वे महालक्ष्मी एवं सरस्वती के साथ एक ही गर्भगृह में पूजित हैं।

मातङ्गीMatangi

Speech, negotiation and the word that lands. Invoked by those whose work turns on being heard correctly.वाणी, वार्ता तथा वह शब्द जो लक्ष्य तक पहुँचे। उनके द्वारा आवाहित जिनका कार्य ठीक से सुने जाने पर निर्भर है।

कमलाKamala

Seated, steady prosperity — as against Dhumavati's absence. Invoked for what holds across a generation rather than a season.आसन-बद्ध, स्थिर समृद्धि — धूमावती के अभाव के विपरीत। उस हेतु आवाहित जो ऋतु नहीं अपितु पीढ़ी भर टिके।
