An anushthan is taken up when a difficulty has settled in — when it has continued long enough that a single day's rite is not the answer. The observance runs nine days without break, with the count recorded each day and havan performed alongside.
Acharya ji keeps the discipline himself through the period. You receive video each day and the jap record at the close, with prasad dispatched afterwards and an observance to keep for the weeks following.
अनुष्ठान तब लिया जाता है जब कठिनाई जम चुकी हो — जब वह इतने समय से चल रही हो कि एक दिवस की विधि उत्तर न हो। साधना नौ दिन अखण्ड चलती है, प्रतिदिन संख्या अंकित होती है और साथ में हवन होता है।

The nine-day Baglamukhi Anushthan is for difficulty that has settled in — something that has continued for months or keeps returning, where a single day's rite does not seem enough. It asks more of the household too: a simple observance is kept at home through the nine days, alongside the discipline Acharya ji keeps at the temple.
नौ दिवसीय बगलामुखी अनुष्ठान उस कठिनाई हेतु है जो जम चुकी हो — जो मासों से चल रही हो अथवा बार-बार लौटती हो, जहाँ एक दिन की विधि पर्याप्त न लगे। इसमें गृहस्थी से भी अधिक अपेक्षा है: मंदिर में आचार्य जी के नियम के साथ-साथ नौ दिन घर पर भी एक सरल नियम रखा जाता है।

Each day you receive video from the temple; at the close you receive the jap record, and prasad is dispatched. Acharya ji gives an observance for the weeks after — the anushthan is understood as the start of a discipline, not a single event.
